Jade Matthew - Lead Producer, Director

Jade is an award-winning producer, director and performer working across scripted audio, fictional & narrative podcasting and documentary.

With over a decade of professional experience in audio drama, television, film and voiceover, Jade specialises in performance-led storytelling and innovative narrative formats for on-demand and broadcast platforms. She is the founder of Slowdance Productions, an independent, audio-led company developing original drama series, fictional podcasts and factual audio and film documentaries.

Jade’s work includes published and commissioned audio drama, arts and documentary projects, and collaborations with leading writers, artists and academics. Her practice combines a strong directing background with a deep understanding of sound, performance and story, creating distinctive, emotionally driven work across both audio and screen.

She has also worked in casting alongside Kharmel Cochrane (Saltburn,Wuthering Heights), Anna Kennedy, and the post-production company 750mph, giving her a strong casting-led perspective on performance, access and collaboration across both audio and screen.

In 2015, Jade won the BBC Audio Drama Award for her performance in ‘A Kidnapping’ for Radio 4, which sparked her total joy and passion for audio. She since starred in many audio dramas including ‘The Archers’ ‘Home Front’ ‘The Wells Way’ and ‘Stroma Sessions’. As an actor she worked with many A-List talent including Peter Dinklage (‘My Dinner with Herve’ for HBO), Eastenders, Ellis (Channel 5), and ‘Pure’ (opposite Joe Cole for Channel 4).

She is now directing and producing.

Andy King - Producer, Editor

Andy has shot a wide range of adverts, documentaries, fashion films and music videos, with work featured in publications including The Telegraph, Clash Magazine and GRM Daily. His visual style leans toward the experimental, often incorporating inventive in-camera methods and distinctive post-production techniques.

Andy has worked in the advertising and film industries since 2010. He began his career in post-production at MPC, contributing to major feature films such as Life of Pi, Skyfall and Prometheus, before moving to Tantrum to work within advertising production. As directors’ assistant there, he collaborated with the company’s full roster on high-profile campaigns for brands including Volkswagen, McDonald’s, IKEA and Google.

Drawing on this broad experience, Andy brings a deep understanding of the entire filmmaking process. Alongside directing, he works across multiple creative roles, including creative director, writer and editor.
